Ricordi Stampati Lab is an innovative app that enables users to effortlessly transform their photos into high-quality prints, framed and ready to hang. The idea was born from the collaboration between photographers Settimio Benedusi and Guido Stazzoni, founders of the photographic collective Ricordi Stampati, with the aim of making the art of photography accessible to everyone at affordable prices.
The collaboration with the Ricordi Stampati team began with an initial phase of evaluating specifications and drafting use cases to describe in detail the functionalities from the user's perspective.
The main goal of the project was to create an extremely user-friendly application that allows users to print their photos in just three simple steps: upload, choose frame, and format.
The design process began with a thorough analysis of user needs and the definition of the different phases of the app's usage process. Special attention was paid to ease of use, considering an audience less familiar with technology. Use cases were meticulously studied to ensure a smooth and intuitive experience.
The main challenge was to simplify the user experience as much as possible, removing any unnecessary elements and focusing attention on essential functionalities. From the home page to the photo uploading phase, to the selection of frame and format, every detail was designed to make the app accessible to everyone.
In parallel with the development of the app for end users, a customized back office was designed and implemented to manage orders, monitor earnings, and handle promotions. This tool was crucial in ensuring effective operational and managerial support.
Thanks to a user-centered approach and synergistic collaboration with the Ricordi Stampati team, the Ricordi Stampati Lab app was successfully launched, offering users a simple and convenient way to preserve their memories through high-quality prints.
