Wishew is a hybrid social platform combining storytelling and crowdfunding, designed to give shape to people's wishes. Users can share their dreams—big or small—through posts and videos, receiving financial support from the community. This project combines authenticity, expressiveness and participation, created to bring the truest everyday passions to the fore.
Wishew approached us with a clear goal: take the platform to the next level, both in terms of user experience and visual impact. We were asked to support the product through a true evolution, transforming it from an MVP into a mature, solid platform in line with the brand's ambitions.
The focus was twofold:
👉 Redefine the user experience from scratch: simplify navigation, improve understanding of flows (creating a wish, supporting, managing profiles), make interactions more natural and engaging, and introduce new sections that enhance community content and transactional features.
👉 Apply existing branding in an elegant, modern and distinctive way, elevating the visual perception of the platform to international product standards, without sacrificing the accessibility or spontaneity that sets Wishew apart.
Wishew involved us in a broad-ranging project, where we worked closely with the team to deeply rethink the app experience, maintaining consistency with the existing visual identity while significantly elevating the sense of perceived quality. UX design: We redesigned the user experience, starting from a UX review of the app and building an architecture designed to guide users through creating, exploring, and supporting wishes. New sections like the feed and discover were introduced to boost engagement, alongside a wallet for managing transactions and richer, more functional profile structures. Each flow was designed to be simple, mobile-first and community-centred.
UI design: Visually, we translated Wishew's language into a more elegant and modern interface, enhancing typography, colours and components with a more mature yet still authentic tone. The style is intended to be emotional but legible, consistent across all sections, and able to highlight the personality of both content and users.
The new Wishew design represents a significant evolution for the product: clearer, more personal, and more “wishful”. We have created a system that puts users’ expressiveness at the centre, making it easier to create and share wishes, while also improving the platform’s overall clarity and usability.
